What are the responsibilities and job description for the Nurse Supervisor position at UHI Admin LLC?
The Nurse Supervisor provides onsite clinical leadership and nursing supervision at a designated residential program. This role partners closely with the Program Manager to support daily operations, quality assurance, and regulatory compliance, while ensuring safe, consistent, and person-centered care. Nurse Supervisor assists with operational oversight, staff coordination, and coverage needs to maintain program stability and continuity of care.
This position requires strong clinical judgment, ethical practice, adaptability, and the ability to balance nursing supervision, administrative responsibilities, and direct nursing support.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Oversee and support nursing services and documentation
- Collaborate with Program Manager on daily site operations
- Provide guidance, coaching, and support to staff
- Support onboarding, training, and mentoring of staff
- Assist with scheduling, coverage, and operational needs
- Participate in quality assurance, incident follow-up, and audits
- Ensure compliance with OARs, ODDS, and OSBN requirements
- Promote dignity, choice, inclusion, and safety for individuals supported
- Maintain required certifications and continuing education
Qualifications:
- Active Oregon RN license in good standing
- Valid Oregon driver’s license
- Ability to meet physical requirements of the role
- Successful completion of background check and drug screening
