Social Media Marketing Script Writer

We’re looking for a full-time script writer who lives and breathes social media — someone who understands marketing, knows how to use AI tools like ChatGPT, stays on top of trends, and can turn research into clear, compelling short-form scripts.

This is NOT a role for film-school creatives, screenwriters, or traditional production people.

We love you, but this job is fast-paced, research-driven, and marketing-focused — not cinematic or artsy.

Uhas Media Co. is a social media production company led by creator and Netflix host Nick Uhas (34M followers). We run a proven content system for 7- and 8-figure businesses that want to scale their authority, drive inbound leads, and build a consistent content engine.

Our signature Scale Package gives clients a fully done-for-you content pipeline:

• Deep AI-assisted research (10X10)

• Monthly script writing

• Local filmer coordination

Clients show up, film once per month, and everything else is handled by us.

You’ll be responsible for writing high-volume, research-backed short-form video scripts for TikTok, IG Reels, Facebook Reels, and YouTube Shorts.

This is a structured, system-driven role — you’ll be using our internal workflow (10X10 → Style Ratio → Script Format) to produce scripts that drive attention, educate, build authority, and convert.

Key Responsibilities

• Write 8-18 short-form scripts per client per month

• Use our AI tools onboarding docs to conduct research

• Plug insights into our two-column script format (NOTES & SCRIPT)

• Craft strong hooks, scroll-stopping intros, and clear CTAs

• Match each client’s voice, brand, and chosen content styles

• Adapt content to platform-specific trends and best practices

• Collaborate with producers, editors, and brand managers

• Take feedback well and iterate quickly

• Stay on top of social trends, formats, styles, and cultural shifts

• Proven experience writing for short-form vertical video

• Strong understanding of marketing, psychology-driven hooks, and audience behavior

• Experience using AI writing tools (especially ChatGPT)

• Deep familiarity with TikTok/IG/YouTube trends and formats

• Excellent research, writing, and proofreading skills

• Ability to follow structured templates and systems

• Strong time management — consistent monthly deadlines are key

• Comfortable working autonomously in a fast-moving environment

• No film school or production experience required (or preferred)

• No degree required — skill and performance matter more
