Position Summary
The Expo plays a critical role in ensuring all dishes are accurate, complete, and presented to brand standards before reaching guests, supporting smooth kitchen-to-front-of-house communication during service.
Key Responsibilities
Organize, verify, and package dine-in and takeout orders for accuracy, presentation, and timing
Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure dishes are fired, plated, and packed correctly
Ensure all items (sauces, condiments, utensils, packaging) are included and meet quality standards
Communicate clearly with servers and kitchen to resolve order discrepancies quickly
Maintain a clean, organized expo and packing station throughout service
Follow food safety, sanitation, and packaging standards at all times
Support high-volume service while maintaining attention to detail and pace
Additional responsibilities as assigned.
- Prior expo, food packing, or kitchen experience preferred
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Clear communication skills and team-oriented mindset
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods (up to 8–10 hours per shift).
- Ability to lift and carry up to 25–50 pounds.
- Frequent bending, reaching, and repetitive movements in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work in varying conditions, including heat, cold, and noise.
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
