Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of offices, restrooms, hallways, floors, and common areas using appropriate cleaning supplies and equipment.
- Conduct floor care activities such as sweeping, mopping, buffing, stripping, waxing, and polishing to maintain a pristine appearance.
- Handle industrial cleaning tasks including deep cleaning of machinery or large spaces when required.
- Maintain cleanliness of windows, walls, ceilings, and fixtures to uphold high standards of hygiene and presentation.
- Assist with custodial tasks related to facilities maintenance such as trash removal, restocking supplies, and minor repairs.
- Support commercial cleaning projects for various client sites or residential properties as needed.
- Follow safety protocols during all cleaning activities to ensure a hazard-free environment.
Qualifications
- Proven janitorial or custodial experience with a strong understanding of cleaning procedures and safety standards.
- Knowledge of floor care techniques including buffing, stripping, waxing, and polishing.
- Experience with commercial or industrial cleaning environments is highly desirable.
- Ability to operate cleaning machinery such as buffers, floor scrubbers, and vacuums efficiently.
- Familiarity with facilities maintenance tasks like minor repairs or painting is a plus.
- Excellent attention to detail with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
