Job Summary

Duties
- Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, and trash removal across all areas of the facility.
- Maintain floors through buffing, polishing, and specialized floor care techniques to ensure a professional appearance.
- Conduct industrial cleaning procedures in warehouses or manufacturing areas as needed.
- Handle custodial responsibilities such as restocking supplies, cleaning restrooms, and disinfecting high-touch surfaces regularly.
- Assist with facilities maintenance tasks like minor repairs or reporting larger issues to the appropriate team.
- Support commercial cleaning projects that may involve deep cleaning or specialized sanitation procedures.
- Utilize proper safety protocols when handling cleaning chemicals and equipment to ensure a safe working environment.
Qualifications
- Proven janitorial or custodial experience with a strong understanding of cleaning procedures and safety standards.
- Knowledge of floor care techniques including buffing, stripping, sealing, and polishing floors.
- Experience with commercial or industrial cleaning environments preferred.
- Familiarity with facilities maintenance tasks such as basic repairs or equipment upkeep is a plus.
- Ability to operate cleaning machinery such as buffers, vacuums, and floor scrubbers effectively.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills.
