Housekeeper

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Housekeeper to join our team and help create a clean, comfortable, and welcoming environment for our residents or guests. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness and sanitation across residential or hospitality spaces. Responsibilities

• Perform thorough cleaning of residential or hotel rooms, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces to ensure a spotless environment.
• Handle laundry duties efficiently, including washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens and clothing items.
• Maintain cleanliness of common areas such as hallways, lobbies, kitchens, and bathrooms by executing regular janitorial tasks.
• Care for floors through sweeping, mopping, polishing, and carpet cleaning to uphold high standards of floor care.
• Ensure proper sanitation practices are followed during all cleaning activities to promote health and safety standards.
• Assist with meal preparation or light cooking as needed to support residents’ or guests’ needs.
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing requests promptly and courteously while maintaining a positive attitude.
• Follow established housekeeping management procedures for inventory control of cleaning supplies and equipment.
• Support overall custodial efforts by participating in deep cleaning projects and special sanitation initiatives when required.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in residential cleaning, hotel housekeeping, or custodial roles is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of cleaning techniques including floor care, carpet cleaning, sanitation practices, and laundry operations.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with residents or guests.
• Experience with commercial cleaning equipment and supplies is a plus.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining attention to detail.
• Physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks that involve standing, bending, lifting, and moving heavy objects regularly.
• Prior janitorial experience or housekeeping management background is advantageous but not mandatory.

Pay: $13.50 - $15.00 per hour
