About the Job 

 

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Analyst with 4–6 years of experience in commercial real estate or commercial lending to join our team. This role supports both portfolio asset management and new investment underwriting across multifamily, retail, and other commercial real estate investments. 

 

The Analyst will be responsible for tracking portfolio performance, maintaining financial models, assisting with underwriting new opportunities, and supporting investor reporting. The role requires strong financial analysis skills, accuracy in data management, and the ability to quickly develop a working knowledge of the firm’s investment portfolio. 

 

This is an opportunity to gain hands-on experience across asset management, acquisitions, and investor communications within a fast-paced investment environment, plus flexible work schedule with the option to work remotely.

 

Key Responsibilities: 

 

Asset Management 

  • Asset & Portfolio Performance Analysis: Track key performance indicators for debt and equity investments to monitor operational and financial performance across the portfolio 
  • Quarterly Reporting: Prepare portfolio summaries and performance reports for internal and investor updates 
  • Financial Models: Maintain and update asset-level financial models to evaluate performance relative to acquisition underwriting 


Acquisitions and Underwriting 

  • Financial Analysis: Support underwriting and financial modeling for new multifamily, retail, and other commercial real estate investments 
  • Market Analysis: Conduct market research and analyze submarket trends to support investment decisions 
  • Offering Materials: Assist in preparing investment memoranda and presentation materials for internal review and capital raising 
  • Process Optimization: Improve underwriting efficiency through better use of AI, data, technology, and standardized analysis 

  

Other Responsibilities 

  • Coordinate with the Investor Relations team to support portfolio reporting and investor communications 
  • Identify opportunities to improve internal processes related to asset tracking and reporting 
  • Support special projects and initiatives as directed by senior management 

 

Minimum Requirements: 

 

  • 4–6 years of relevant experience in commercial real estate, real estate investment, or commercial lending 
  • Demonstrated experience supporting asset management and investment underwriting, including financial modeling and return analysis 
  • Bachelor’s degree in Real Estate, Finance, Business, Accounting, or related field 
  • Strong analytical skills and exceptional attention to detail 
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines 
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel; experience with real estate investment, financial analysis, or property management software is a plus
