Job Summary
As a member of UFCU’s Retail Leadership Team and working under the supervision of the Sr Retail Manager – Satellite Network, the Satellite Branch Manager (SBM) will lead multiple satellite teams to grow memberships, impact communities, deepen relationships, and provide exceptional service to existing and future members. The Satellite Branch Manager performs the overall administrative supervision of multiple satellite branches, activities and teams, including coordinating and directing personnel activities to ensure ongoing operational effectiveness within the framework of federal and state laws, NCUA regulation, and UFCU policies and procedures.

Essential Functions
Leadership:
- Responsible for managing the overall ongoing operations of multiple satellite branches in support of staffing, training, and employee relations of all satellite branch employees.
- Provide direction and support to the Satellite Branch Manager (SBM) to ensure a high level of overall operations is achieved.
- Hold staff accountable to team goals, initiatives, and UFCU’s policies and procedures.
- Utilizes leadership and motivational techniques to create and maintain a positive work environment and a high-performing, cohesive teams.
- Promotes UFCU’s cultural values and contributes to the success of UFCU’s strategic vision and organizational and team goals. Monitors performance and, if necessary, corrects course to reach established goals.
- Use principles of continuing process improvement to streamline and enhance branch operations according to UFCU’s strategic initiatives.
Business Development:
- Engage in appropriate business development activities in the local communities of the designated market area, including visible participation in business, community, and charitable organizations.
- Deliver content and presentations to various types of audience.
- Host highly engaging events throughout our markets to drive membership growth, brand awareness, and community impact.
- Support and coordinate with branch leaders with any opportunities related to campus and community impact
- Coordinate with marketing team in the creation of compelling Satellite Branch collateral to demonstrate Credit Union benefits and enhance partner relationships.
Branch Operations:
- Use principles of continuing process improvement to streamline and enhance each Satellite operation according to UFCU strategic initiatives.
- Responsible for overseeing multiple satellite locations and in support of staffing, training, and employee relations of multiple satellite branches and its employees.
- Hold teams accountable to goals, initiatives, and UFCU’s policy and procedures.
Sales & Service:
- Responsible for the branch staff's delivery of personal financial services through new accounts and loan closings. Ensure quality service is provided by all branch employees.
- Effectively demonstrate successful promotion and sales of assigned UFCU products and services to meet and exceed both personal and Satellite branch sales objectives, while simultaneously coaching Satellite branch staff to same standards.
- Maintain a good working relationship with all Credit Union team members and work closely with other lines of business within the Credit Union to cross-sell products and promote a strong referral network.
Operations & Logistics:
- Setting up, and taking down, tables, booths, and tents for events.
- Maintain strict adherence to and compliance with all laws, rules, regulations, and internal controls specific to your role, including but not limited to Bank Secrecy Act, Anti-Money Laundering, USA Patriot Act, OFAC and Fair Lending regulations.
Community Relations:
- Participate in frequent networking and professional events to enhance Credit Union’s brand awareness in the community to develop new business prospects and promote the cooperative.
- Coordinate with SABM, Campus Ambassadors and the Business Development team to schedule engaging events for the public.
Other:
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Complete required regulatory training as assigned.

Experience
Minimum Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum two (2) years of financial services or retail experience.
- Minimum two (2) years of general management experience.
- Minimum three (3) years with demonstrated success selling products within a retail environment or financial services industry.
- Must be bondable.
Preferred Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred
- Minimum two (2) years with demonstrated success selling products and/or services
