Job Summary
The Finance Analyst Intern will work closely with other Finance Analysts on the development, analysis and production of financial management reporting for UFCU, in order to assess UFCU’s current and planned business activities to determine their impact to enterprise performance and profitability.
The 12-week internship program begins May 26, 2026 through August 14, 2026.

Essential Functions
- Project work to develop financial reporting materials for management to assess profitability and performance
- Data-driven research into business trends and identifying possibilities for improving business performance
- Assisting with the development of financial models to forecast business performance and profitability
- Performs other duties as assigned
- Adheres to all company policies, procedures and business ethics codes
- Completes required regulatory Training as assigned
- Maintains strict adherence and compliance to all laws, rules, regulations and internal controls specific to your role, including but not limited to Bank Secrecy Act, Anti-Money Laundering, USA Patriot Act, OFAC and Fair Lending regulations
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
Knowledge
- Knowledge of financial statement analysis and financial performance measurement techniques
- Understanding of accounting principles
- Ability to work with data, including organization of data and statistical analysis techniques
- Experience working with data analysis tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Qlik or similar
Skills
- Superior communication skills with the ability to:
- Effectively listen to others
- Articulate understanding and explain complex information succinctly
- Possess high-level of analytical acuity and intellectual curiosity
- Financial analysis skills, including modeling in Excel
- Strategic thinking and organizational skills
Abilities
- Adept at maintaining effective relationships with internal departments, senior managers and external auditors, regulatory agencies and others key stakeholders.

Experience
Minimum Requirements
- Currently enrolled as a full-time student with accredited institution, pursing degree in Accounting, Finance, Data Science or similar subject
- Minimum of 12 completed academic hours
