Job Description
This position develops, maintains, and ensures quality control of databases and may assist in development and implementation of measurement systems for stipends processing. This position collects and analyzes the data with supporting documentation then processes the stipend distribution to learners who successfully complete certain professional development activities. This position is time-limited and soft funded.

Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited To
Data Management and Payment Processing
- Collaborate and independently develops and completes a range of analyses and reports using inferential statistical measures commonly used in their field to support stipend processing and reporting; may require modifications of those measures.
- Collaborates with supervisor and IT staff on improvements to or development of data infrastructure.
- Collects, analyzes, interprets, and summarizes data in preparation for generation of statistical and analytical reports.
- Maintains computerized collection and tracking of relevant application, stipend participant and payment data.
- Performs routine and complex transactions.
- Provides reporting to stakeholders for stipend payments disbursed.
- Ensures disbursement policies and procedures are documented to support each stipend payment administered.
- Assist with miscellaneous budget and compliance reviews.
- Organizes and interprets unstructured RPP payment failure data, converting RPP failure information into actionable data, assignments of payment resend process via the team’s Stipend Payment Error Data Loader, and payment failure status tracking.
- Enhances data tracking and workflows.
- Responsible for generating and assigning Stipend Processing Reports for the Financial Services Team.
- Responsible for creating and assigning data cleanup projects, identifying and resolving data integrity issues, generating and distributing working lists to correct errors, and producing automation reset lists to support data quality initiatives.
- Responsible for weekly stipend payment projection to leadership, creating batch pay file list, prepayment reviews, and large volume pay file uploads into my.ufl, RPP error report clearing, and generating payment data validation updates for stipend complete participants for the Financial Services team.
- Clearly communicates processes and procedures to stipend recipients.
- Assists the Communications Team to schedule and monitor email processes.
- Provides weekly updates to the Stipend Program Tracking file, for total payments sent, total payments failed, application by status counts, missing applications figures, and stipend units available/remaining.
- Communicates stipend program progress to stakeholders.
- Communicates with Communications team for various targeted outreaches, including but not limited to SIS related communications and the weekly Mastery-Stipend Application Needed outreaches.
- Work with Business Services team and other associates to perform job duties.
- Coordinates with stakeholders to maintain and update learner participant lists and Learner Records to ensure accuracy of the Student Information System (SIS) to the standards required for stipend processing.
- Coordinates with center Data Team on Microsoft Power Automate automations for secure stipend application intake and processing, and stipend application integration to the applicants Learner Record in the Student Information System (SIS).

Bachelor’s degree in an appropriate area of specialization.

- Demonstrate strong skills and proficiency in Excel, Word, Powerpoint, Adobe, and web navigation tools and programs
- Strong relational, organizational, and communication skills
- Ability to receive and maintain confidential or sensitive information -Reviews and prepares all voucher and journal entries for accuracy
- Processes and provides oversight for travel authorization and expense reports.
- May prepare grants proposal submissions
- Master’s degree in an appropriate area; or a bachelor’s degree in an appropriate area and two years of relevant experience
- Intermediate/Advanced Excel experience
