Overview
The AVP of Operations leads the strategic and day-to-day operational functions of the hospital to ensure high-quality patient care, operational efficiency, financial performance, and regulatory compliance. They will exercise management oversight for the development of high quality and cost-effective programs for the following areas of the Northeast including Radiology, Pharmacy, Laboratory, Rehab Services, and Respiratory Services. Ensures contracted services such as EVS, F N, and Transport KPl's are exceeding targets while maintaining quality and customer experience goals. This position will have responsibility for ensuring efficient services are designed to meet the needs of patients, physicians and staff across the region. This role partners with the other leaders to drive sustainable growth, improve margins, and deliver exceptional operational results.
Qualifications
Required Education: Master's degree in medical discipline.
Preferred Education: Degree in Business Administration or Health Care Administration.
Necessary Skills: 1. Leadership and people management: transformative leadership, coaching, cross-functional collaboration.
Preferred Experience: Experience in an academic medical center.
Supervision: 600 team members
