Responsibilities
Under the direction of the director, the RN charge nurse utilizes the nursing process, facilitates patient care making nursing assessments and diagnosis, formulates care plans based on the diagnosis and implements and evaluates the plan of care.

This Observation unit is a bit different from the traditional model. We’re a 67-bed unit with a very fast pace, high patient turnover, and a wide range of patient acuity. It’s a dynamic and rewarding environment, but it definitely requires strong clinical skills, adaptability, and stamina.
Qualifications
Education:
- Diploma/Associates Degree
Licensure/Certification/Registration:
- Florida Registered Nurse License
- BLS
-NIH Stroke Certification
Special Skills/Qualifications/Additional Training/Experience Required:
Leadership Skills - Should attend hospital training programs including: New Manager/Supervisor orientation and Leadership Development courses
- Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English
