To provide and support pharmaceutica care including medication dispensing, preventing, identifying, and resolving drug related problems, promoting optimal therapeutics, and medication/pharmacotherapy education. To participate in performance improvement, academic programs, and clinical research activities of the department.
Qualifications
Required Education: Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy -OR- Pharm D. degree (Doctor of Pharmacy) Preferred Education: Post-graduate residency training Necessary Skills: Attention to detail and ability to distinguish drug products. Fine motor coordination and manual dexterity. Computer skills and accuracy in calculations. Excellent communication and customer service skills. 5. Supervision of technician employees. Required Licensure/Certifications: - Registered pharmacy intern with the Florida Board of Pharmacy or Registered pharmacist in Florida (must be registered pharmacist in Florida within 90 days of hire). Required Experience: One to two (1-2) years of related experience. Supervision: Supervisory responsibility of 3 employees. Age of Patients Served: All Age Groups.
