What are the responsibilities and job description for the Rehab Tech-PRN position at UF Health?
The Rehab Tech supports the delivery of rehabilitative care under direct supervision by clinicians and site leadership. Performs tasks related to cleaning and monitoring of equipment and supplies, assisting with patient care delegated by clinicians, cleaning and organization within the department areas, clerical support and patient flow/transport.
Required Education: GED or High School Diploma. Necessary Skills: 1. Good communication skills including verbal and non verbal 2. Ability to work effectively with patients at all levels of ability/disability Preferred Experience: Inpatient rehabilitation experience Age of Patients Served: All Age Groups Preferred Education: Allied health coursework desirable Required Licensure/Certifications: Basic Life Support from American Heart Association Preferred Licensure/Certifications: N/A Required Experience: Less than one year
