Process all outgoing mail so that it meets its correct destination in a timely manner. Use good judgement in metering the mail so that excess postage is not expended.

Responsibilities
• Gather all outgoing mail from multiple locations on the 4th floor of the Faculty Clinic building.
• Research and correct all incorrect addresses on mail piece and address correction reports.
• Operate the designated machinery for folding, inserting and metering the mail.
• Allocate postage for each mail piece as set forth by the United States Postal Service regulations.
• Sort and use any identifying methods as required, to prepare the mail for the correct postage rates.
• Keep an accurate inventory of supplies used in the Mail Center.
• Stay abreast of USPS regulations and mail requirements.
• All other duties assigned.
Qualifications
Education Requirement:
High School Diploma or GED equivalent - Required

Skills, Knowledge, Abilities
Clerical
• Ability to operate Mail Center equipment.
Clerical
• Analytical skills in determining delivery of mail when the intended recipient is not clearly defined.
Communication
• Concisely communicate and relate to all levels of the organization, customers and outside agencies.
Organization/Prioritization
• Ability to organize and prioritize assignments to work independently as well as a collaborative team member.
