Responsibilities
The EP Lab CVT, under the direction the of the director/charge person, monitors procedures, assist physician in a scrub-assistant role, and circulates to include all diagnostic EP and cardiac ablations procedures, device implants and explants, cardiac cath procedures to ensures safe patient care. This is a prn day shift position.

Qualifications
Education
- Associate's Degree in Cardiovascular Technology, Radiologic Technology, or Respiratory Therapy
- In Lieu of education requirements, a minimum of five (5) years’ experience and:
- Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) Certification (Required within 12 months of hire) OR
- Registered Cardiovascular Electrophysiology Specialist (RCES) Certification (Required within 12 months of hire)
- Licensure/Certification/Registration
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) Certification (preferred)
- If no ARRT, then one of the following licenses or certifications:
- -FL Certified Radiologic Technologist license OR
- -FL Registered Respiratory Therapist license OR
- -Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) Certification OR
- -Registered Cardiovascular Electrophysiology Specialist (RCES) Certification
- -any of the four license/certifications above within 12 months of hire if no degree in the applicable fields
- BLS required
- ACLS required
- Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English.
- Minimum 1 year recent experience in Cardiac Cath lab or EP lab.
- For less than 1 year EP experience, must have graduated from an accredited academic program with a dedicated EP curriculum and successful completion of EP clinical rotations.
- Must have a strong knowledge base in Electrocardiograms, rhythm analysis, sterile technique, cardiac anatomy, hemodynamics, and radiation protection.
