The Scheduler is responsible for scheduling MRI exams with patients and coordinating the scheduling of the representatives for implantable devices. This also includes performing various administrative and clinical duties related to patient care such as, room turn over, assisting patients, collecting Patient information and assisting the technologist.

Responsibilities
Obtains all necessary patient demographic, health, and insurance information from patient and/or physician’s office.
Schedules MRI’s to be performed in facility (e.g., Hospital, FIC, Nocatee, Orthopedic place).
Responsible for verifying all patients’ coverage and benefits, eligibility, enrollment history, and demographic information. Inputs all information from providers/members into the electronic record.
Coordinates schedules with representatives, patients, and nursing staff.
Escorting and assisting with various patient needs, assisting in and out of wheelchairs, and transferring patients on and off stretchers.
Works closely under the supervision of MRI technologist performing various duties.
Taking medical history from patients, family members and nursing staff.
Qualifications
Education: High School Diploma/Equivalent
Experience: 1 Year Medical Office
