Lead CT Technologist | UF Health Freestanding Emergency Department

UF Health is hiring a Lead CT Technologist for our Clermont Freestanding Emergency Department. This role blends hands-on CT/X-Ray expertise with daily team support and workflow coordination to drive excellent patient care, quality, and turnaround times.
What You’ll Do
- Perform CT and general radiography exams in an emergency setting.
- Ensure high-quality imaging, patient safety, and excellent service.
- Support daily department flow, prioritizing STAT/urgent imaging.
- Coach and assist technologists with protocols, image quality, and best practices.
- Help with onboarding/training, competency support, and coverage needs.
- Maintain compliance with radiation safety and UF Health policies.
- Collaborate closely with ED physicians, nurses, and leadership.
Required
- Graduate of an accredited Radiology program.
- Florida Radiologic Technologist license (General Radiographer).
- ARRT (R).
- BLS (AHA).
- Strong CT experience (ED/urgent care experience preferred).
Preferred
- ARRT (CT) (or ability to obtain per policy).
- Prior lead, preceptor, or charge experience.
- ACLS.
