This is a full-time, on-site Career Services Specialist role located in Tacoma, WA. The Career Services Specialist will support students and graduates in their career development journey by assisting with job search strategies, interview preparation, and overall career counseling. They will collaborate with employers to identify job opportunities, develop resources, and build lasting professional relationships. The role requires a focus on guiding students to achieve their career goals and securing positive employment outcomes.
- Proficiency in Career Services and Career Counseling, with the ability to guide and mentor students effectively.
- Knowledge of Job Search Strategies and Interview Preparation to equip students for successful job applications and interviews.
- Experience in Career Development and related strategies aimed at advancing students' professional growth.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with employers and community partners.
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience; prior experience in career development services is highly preferred.
- Passion for working in education and facilitating student success in professional pathways.
