We are looking to add a Service Technician to our team in Daytona Beach, Florida area!

UDI was founded in 1979 and celebrated its 42nd anniversary. UDI is based in Jacksonville, Florida and is a privately held company and sells and services water purification systems mainly in Florida and Georgia.
Job Summary
Our Service Technicians are the face of our company with direct contact with our customers. They are expected to build a positive and long lasting relationship with their customers. A good candidate will be able to perform the annual maintenance on our systems, diagnostics and resolve any service related issues as needed throughout the year and grasp the understanding of the water softening process, how our system operates and the benefits of softened and purified water.
Required Skills and Abilities:
- Positive attitude
- Ability to build good rapport with customers
- Willing to learn and apply new teachings
- Process paperwork correctly and accurately
- Good communication skills
- Sales background is a plus
- Clean driving history
Job Responsibilities:
- Water Conditioning/Treatment preferred but not required
- Understand basic Plumbing and Electrical
- Field service and repair work experience

Physical Requirements:
Stooping, Bending, Kneeling, Crawling, Reaching, Walking, Pushing and Pulling. Lifting up to 200 lbs of force occasionally, and/or up to 50 lbs of force frequently, and/or up to 20 lbs of force constantly to move objects.
