UCW Logistics is looking for motivated, experienced freight professionals to join our team as 1099 Independent Freight Agent Partners.
This is an opportunity for an established freight agent, broker, sales professional, or logistics entrepreneur who wants to build and grow their own book of business while having the support, resources, and infrastructure of an established logistics company behind them.
As an independent agent partner, you will have the freedom to develop customer relationships, source freight, negotiate transportation solutions, and grow your revenue without the overhead and limitations of starting a brokerage from scratch.
What You'll Do
- Develop and maintain relationships with shippers, manufacturers, distributors, and other freight customers
- Prospect and generate new business opportunities
- Source and manage freight opportunities
- Coordinate transportation solutions with qualified carriers
- Negotiate rates and transportation services
- Manage customer relationships from initial contact through successful delivery
- Build and grow your personal book of business
- Maintain consistent communication with customers and transportation partners
- Provide excellent customer service and help create long-term relationships
