Required Qualifications
- Graduate of a formal accredited ultrasound training program in an approved school
- Requires ARDMS credentials in Abdomen and OB/Gyn specialties at minimum.
- Flexibility in scheduling, ability to rotate shifts and coverage for weekends and holidays and on-call shifts.
- Maintain ARDMS credential(s) according to the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonography's criteria.
- New hires who meet criteria of equivalent experience and credentials held must also have equivalent Senior Sonographer skills; the Senior Diagnostic Medical Sonographer title may be granted at the discretion of the Section Chief and Section Supervisor.
- Recent work experience in an acute care setting (hospital setting)
- Requires ARDMS credentials in Abdomen and OB/Gyn specialties at minimum.
- BLS - Basic Life Support.
