Job Description
We have an immediate opening for an exceptional and meticulous research technician and lab manager in a neuroscience laboratory at the epicenter of cancer research on the Mission Bay campus at UCSF!Research in the Oldham lab (https://oldhamlab. ucsf. edu) focuses on understanding the cellular and molecular organization of the developing and adult human brain in health and disease. We use a combination of cutting-edge experimental techniques and computational approaches to identify and characterize patterns of gene activity in disparate cell types, and to relate these patterns to functional and pathological processes, with a particular emphasis on adult malignant gliomas. We are also highly involved in software development.

The final salary and offer components are subject to additional approvals based on UC policy.
Your placement within the salary range is dependent on a number of factors including your work experience and internal equity within this position classification at UCSF. For positions that are represented by a labor union, placement within the salary range will be guided by the rules in the collective bargaining agreement.
