Job Description
Utilizes the nursing process for assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation to provide safe, therapeutic care. Functions as a member of the interdisciplinary and nursing teams; carries out established nursing procedures and performs related duties as required; performs nursing care for patients with more complex needs with assistance and supervision. Assists with the management of patient care administered by other members of the nursing team.

Your placement within the salary range is dependent on a number of factors including your work experience and internal equity within this position classification at UCSF. For positions that are represented by a labor union, placement within the salary range will be guided by the rules in the collective bargaining agreement.

Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum of two (2) years of recent clinical RN experience in a Level III Intensive Care Nursery (ICN) with a surgical patient population
- Proficiency in caring for extremely low birth weight infants and neonates with congenital anomalies, including pre-operative congenital heart disease
- Flexibility to orient and work across all UCSF Medical Center locations
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of California
- Current healthcare provider CPR/BLS certification
