Your placement within the salary range is dependent on a number of factors including your work experience and internal equity within this position classification at UCSF. For positions that are represented by a labor union, placement within the salary range will be guided by the rules in the collective bargaining agreement.

Qualifications
Required Qualifications
- Nationally recognized Personal Training certification
- One or more years of experience as a Certified Personal Trainer
- Working knowledge of program activity practices and procedures
- Verbal and written communication skills in English, including active listening, flexibility, critical thinking, multitasking, and time management
- Ability to exercise independent judgment and apply sound reasoning skills
- Strong client service orientation, entrepreneurial mindset, and creative thinking skills
- Ability to successfully pass FBI and DOJ criminal background checks
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Exercise Science or a related field
- Knowledge of campus policies and procedures
- Basic computer skills relevant to job duties
- Experience in rehabilitation or injury management
- Standard First Aid Training certification
- Dietary or nutritional certification
- Nationally Certified Adult CPR/AED certification (American Red Cross, American Heart Association, or other recognized organization)
