Essential Functions (Responsibilities will include but not be limited to the following):
Skills/Qualifications:
High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED). The incumbent must demonstrate excellent welding skills.
Essential Functions (Responsibilities will include but not be limited to the following):
- Maintains welds on various items using a variety of processes (manual arc, tungsten inert gas, metallic inert gas, brazing, cement core drilling, sheet metal, steam-fitting etc.) for the purpose of ensuring availability and functioning of required items ensuring safety.
- Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Skills/Qualifications:
- Must have both mig and tig welding experience
- Experience working with both Aluminum & Steel
- Ability to operate equipment used in welding and metal fabrication including band saws, grinders, break, shear, drill, press, chop saw etc.
- Ability to follow both written and verbal instructions.
- Must have good eye for detailed inspection.
- Able to work independently.
- Must adhere to safety procedures.
- Must be ambitious, energetic, and quality conscious.
- Able to regularly lift and adjust items less than 50lbs.
