Duties
- Operate pallet jacks and other warehouse equipment to move products safely and efficiently.
- Perform order picking and packing duties, ensuring accuracy in fulfilling customer orders.
- Assist with shipping and receiving tasks, including inspecting incoming shipments for damage or discrepancies.
- Maintain an organized stock area by properly storing products and managing inventory levels.
- Collaborate with the warehouse supervisor to ensure all operations run smoothly and efficiently.
- Utilize RF scanners for tracking inventory movements and maintaining accurate records.
- Build and fabricate displays or packaging as needed for products within the warehouse environment.
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean working environment at all times.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a distribution center or warehouse setting is preferred but not required.
- Basic mechanical knowledge is a plus, particularly in operating warehouse machinery.
- Ability to lift heavy items and perform physical tasks throughout the shift.
- Strong attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in order fulfillment and inventory management.
- Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues and supervisors.
- Familiarity with order picking processes and shipping/receiving procedures is advantageous.
