Job Summary:
The Enrollment & Family Experience Manager is responsible for leading and supporting student enrollment, retention, and family engagement efforts across the UCP Charter Schools Consortium. The primary focus of this position is ensuring schools maintain full enrollment through proactive management of enrollment systems, monitoring of enrollment pipelines, accountability for enrollment performance, and implementation of strategies that increase inquiry-to-enrollment conversion and student retention.
This position serves as the central enrollment leader for the consortium, providing oversight, coaching, and support to campus-based Enrollment Specialists while working collaboratively with school Principals, Enrollment Specialists, marketing staff, and school leadership teams. Although not the direct supervisor of campus Enrollment Specialists, this position is responsible for monitoring performance, establishing expectations, identifying barriers, and ensuring enrollment processes are executed with urgency, consistency, and excellence.
The manager also supports family experience initiatives that strengthen parent satisfaction, student retention, and long-term enrollment stability.
Job Responsibilities:
Enrollment Leadership & Accountability
- Monitor enrollment activity across all UCP Charter School campuses to ensure enrollment goals and capacity targets are achieved.
- Establish expectations and accountability measures for campus-based Enrollment Specialists.
- Monitor inquiry response times, application completion rates, enrollment conversion rates, waitlist activity, and retention metrics.
- Conduct regular enrollment reviews with campus teams to identify barriers, opportunities, and action steps.
- Support principals and Enrollment Specialists in developing and executing campus-specific enrollment plans.
- Create a culture of urgency around enrollment and retention efforts.
- Ensure prospective families receive timely follow-up and exceptional customer service throughout the enrollment process.
- Collaborate closely with the Enrollment Specialist to ensure seamless movement of families from inquiry through enrollment.
Enrollment Systems & Data Management
- Serve as the consortium lead for SchoolMint Enroll processes and enrollment workflow management.
- Monitor enrollment data, application pipelines, waitlists, registration status, and annual re-registration activity.
- Analyze enrollment trends and recommend strategies to improve conversion and retention.
- Ensure enrollment data integrity and consistency across campuses.
- Prepare enrollment and retention reports, dashboards, projections, and recommendations for leadership.
- Identify enrollment risks and implement corrective action plans.
Recruitment & Enrollment Growth
- Collaborate with the Marketing Department to develop and implement enrollment marketing campaigns.
- Analyze enrollment trends and referral sources to inform recruitment strategies.
Support campuses in planning and executing open houses, tours, enrollment events, and community outreach activities. - Develop relationships with community partners, referral sources, and organizations that may generate student referrals.
- Participate in community events and presentations to promote UCP Charter Schools.
- Identify innovative strategies to increase enrollment and improve market visibility.
Retention & Family Experience
- Support schools in creating welcoming and responsive experiences for prospective and current families.
- Coordinate consortium-wide retention initiatives, including Intent-to-Return campaigns and onboarding efforts.
- Analyze parent satisfaction data and recommend retention strategies.
- Support campuses in strengthening communication, engagement, and family satisfaction.
- Assist in developing systems that improve the family experience while supporting enrollment and retention goals.
- Monitors family engagement participation, tracks effectiveness and reports engagement trends.
Training & Support
- Assist with hiring, onboarding, and training of campus Enrollment Specialists.
- Provide ongoing coaching, technical assistance, and professional development related to enrollment and retention best practices.
- Develop standardized enrollment and engagement procedures and resources.
- Facilitate regular meetings with enrollment personnel to share expectations, strategies, and performance updates.
- Serve as a resource for troubleshooting enrollment challenges and identifying solutions.

Qualifications:Education and Training: (or equivalent)
Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Education, Communications, Nonprofit Management, Organizational Leadership, or a related field.
Minimum Experience (Required)
- Demonstrated experience leading enrollment, admissions, recruitment, marketing, sales, customer engagement, or related functions.
- Experience working in schools, charter schools, higher education, nonprofit organizations, healthcare, or customer-centered organizations preferred
- Strong understanding of enrollment funnels, customer service principles, and performance metrics.
- Excellent organizational, leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Experience analyzing data and utilizing performance metrics to drive results.
- Experience with CRM systems, SchoolMint, enrollment software, or student information systems preferred.
- Experience with digital communication tools and social media platforms
- Ability to influence and hold others accountable without direct supervisory authority.
Salary : $65,000 - $70,000
