Job Summary:
- The 21st CCLC Program Assistant is the lead of a group of 10-20 students in providing STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math) enrichment activities at the UCP CCLC after school/camp days and summer program and supporting teachers during academic interventions.
Job Responsibilities:
- Assisting in the planning and implementation of fun and exciting STEAM based enrichment activities including creating lesson plans.
- Support teachers during the delivery of academic interventions to students.
- Create a classroom culture that encourages group thinking, curiosity and discovery
- Complete appropriate data collections (i.e. attendance) according to grant requirements
- Assist in the assessment of student progress
- Assist with family engagement activities (including Family Night) as requested.
- Perform all other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Qualifications:Education and Training:
- Prefer Associate Degree or college credits. Minimum High School Diploma/GED
- First Aid/CPR Cert
Minimum Experience/Skills
- Strong classroom management and organization
- Experience working with students with and without disabilities in a classroom setting
- Experience supporting STEAM activities.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
