DSP (Direct Support Professional) THIRD SHIFT

UCM Residential Services is seeking a part‑time (20 hours/week) Third Shift Direct Support Professional (DSP) with the opportunity to move into a full‑time role after successful completion of a 90‑day probationary period.

⭐ Pay & Incentives

• $20.00 per hour starting rate
• $2.00/hour weekend differential
• Additional pay for experience and education
• Mandatory every‑other‑weekend rotation

⭐ About the Role

At UCM, our DSPs combine a love for people with a strong work ethic to provide high‑quality care to the individuals we serve. DSPs are empowered to meet each person’s needs, support independence, and assist with daily living.

⭐ Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate care and emotional support
• Assist with daily living activities (ADLs), including eating, bathing, dressing, and personal hygiene
• Teach and reinforce life skills such as communication, problem‑solving, and decision‑making
• Follow Individual Service Plans (ISPs) to ensure each person receives the support they need
• Maintain a clean, safe, and respectful environment
• Demonstrate dependability by arriving on time and following scheduled shifts
• Advocate for individuals and communicate concerns promptly
• Stay observant and report any changes in health, behavior, or safety
