Position Summary

The Department employs over 50 professors pursuing research in all areas of chemistry and biochemistry. The goals of this research include synthesizing complex natural products and new nano-materials required to solve the many health and environmental crises facing our planet, and illuminating the molecular mechanisms that regulate the decoding of genetic information.

Salary & Compensation

Qualifications

• Knowledge of Physical Biochemistry, molecular biophysics and computer programming in C, Julia, and Matlab. (Required)
• Working knowledge of Macintosh desktop computers and common associated software, including Word, Excel, Powerpoint, and Adobe Illustrator. (Required)
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to convey research progress in a clear concise manner. (Required)
  
  

Education, Licenses, Certifications & Personal Affiliations

• Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry or Biochemistry and / or equivalent experience and / or training. (Required)
