Salary & Compensation
- UCLA provides a full pay range. Actual salary offers consider factors, including budget, prior experience, skills, knowledge, abilities, education, licensure and certifications, and other business considerations. Salary offers at the top of the range are not common. - Working knowledge of university policies that apply to industry contract proposal preparation; submission and processing. (Preferred)
- Working knowledge of university department structures, accounting systems and fund management models. (Preferred)
- Demonstrated ability to draft and review contracts in an academic, non-profit, corporate or legal environment. (Required)
- Demonstrated experience with data entry and data integrity responsibilities. (Required)
- Demonstrated ability to manage a heavy workload while identifying priority situations and meeting deadlines. (Required)
- Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with campus community and funding entity staff. (Required)
- Ability to gather information in order to analyze complex issues and formulate logical and objective conclusions and alternative solutions. (Required)
- Ability to work independently as well as work effectively in a group. (Required)
- Proven ability to present information and compose concise, logical, and grammatically correct oral and written communications. (Required)
- Demonstrated computer skills for word processing, email, etc. (Required)
- Background Check: Continued employment is contingent upon the completion of a satisfactory background investigation.
