Description The Department of Medicine is seeking a Project Policy Analyst 2 to support the successful implementation and execution of program and project initiatives that advance departmental goals and priorities. The Programs Coordinator will work in conjunction with administrative Project Managers and will provide assistance to project faculty and leadership as assigned. Key projects include a federally-funded clinical intervention study and a training program to develop skills in treatment of individuals with neurodevelopmental disabilities. Project assignments may be subject to change depending on funding availability or strategic priorities.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: study coordination, preparation of contracts and purchasing documents, liaising between project stakeholders and communicating progress and/or barriers, event logistics support, creating presentations, website content, social media materials, reports, and other communications to effectively engage stakeholders and support program objectives, support in data collection of federal and non-federal reports, meeting attendance and note-taking. Hourly range: $30.63-$59.19 Qualifications
Required: Bachelor’s Degree or/and equivalent combination of education and experience.Ability to work independently, and also have interpersonal skills to work with teams. 2-4 years of relevant experience. Demonstrated writing skills to produce wide range of documents and deliverables. Experience communicating effectively and professionally and working with a variety of internal and external partners, including UCLA administrators, outside funders, policy makers and community representatives. Working knowledge of evaluation, creating datasets, grant writing and proposal submission. Strong organizational skills to successfully work on and track complex programs involving short deadlines and multiple tasks, in coordination with multiple teams to achieve program/project mission and goals. Working knowledge of program/project development, evaluation, creating datasets, financial management and reporting, research principles including CITI training, grant writing and proposal submission, University procedures and policies, program/project related federal and state regulations. Ability to seek out and learn new policies, procedures, and software to advance the mission of the program/project. Ability to train new program/project managers and other staff within and external to the unit.
$30.63-59.19 Hourly Monday-Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm
