Description
The physician assistant (PA) functions in an interdependent role via a delegation agreement. By using the delegation agreement the PA is able to change treatment regimen after observing signs and symptoms of illness, reactions to treatment, general behavior and physical condition and determines if they are abnormal findings. The PA will provide and coordinate the care of patients, provide patient/family education, promote safe continuity of care. The PA also participates in interdisciplinary and clinical rounds, provides education and support, as well as makes appropriate referrals and documents services rendered.
Salary range: $83.46-$112.31/hourly
Qualifications Master's degree in Physician Assistant Program-required CA PA License-required National Board Certification as PA-required BLS and ACLS Certification from AHA or ARC- required Neurosurgery experience as PA -preferred NPI #, DEA #, Enrollment in PECOS, Enrollment in CURES $83.46-112.31 Hourly Monday-Friday 8am-5pm
