Description The Financial Services
Analyst 2 plays a critical role in supporting the operational and financial integrity
of the office of Research Administration. This position is responsible for
reviewing complex research
protocols to accurately reconcile exams and procedures with billed charges and
approved study
budgets. The Financial Services Analyst 2 validates whether services are protocol-required,
determines if charges qualify as routine care, and identifies when contract amendments
are needed. Given the complexity and volume of clinical trial protocols, this
role requires strong expertise, attention to detail, and the ability to
effectively manage and execute billing requirements across multiple studies
Hourly
salary range: 32.67 - 49.71. The department’s target salary range: 32.67 - 40.78
Qualifications Bachelor's degree in related area and / or equivalent experience / training . (Required)
Strong knowledge of financial data management and reporting systems . (Required)
Working knowledge of financial processes, policies and procedures . (Required)
Proficiency in the use of spreadsheet and database software . (Required)
Strong interpersonal skills, analytical skills, service orientation, active listening, critical thinking, attention to detail, ability to multi-task in a high volume environment, organizational skills, effective verbal and written communication skills, sound judgment and decision making. (Required)
Ability to function effectively as a member of a team . (Required)
