Description
The Department of Medicine is seeking a Clinical Research Supervisor 2 at the UCLA Hematology/Oncology Division to lead and oversee the coordination of clinical research trials in oncology. In this role, you will provide direct supervision to research staff and ensure the smooth operation of study activities. You will oversee and resolve operational aspects of clinical studies or trials and manage unit operations to guarantee compliance with departmental policies, organizational standards, and regulatory requirements, including FDA Code of Federal Regulations (CFR), ICH Good Clinical Practice (GCP), and institutional procedures. The role involves the development of and ensures compliance with clinical study protocols that involve human subjects. May be responsible for finances, clinical operations, and site and vendor selection.
Annual salary range: 99,100.00- 216,500.00
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in related area. Required
Clinical Trial Professional certification from a professional society within one year in position. Required
Broad knowledge of clinical or laboratory research and clinical research philosophy. Demonstrated ability to translate clinical research philosophy into business best practices in a trial setting. Required
Demonstrated project management skills. Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities, prioritize projects and meet the demands of a fast-paced and dynamic work environment. Adaptable to quickly changing priorities. Required
Demonstrated experience managing people with a wide range of educational backgrounds and skills. Demonstrated management and conflict resolution skills to effectively lead and motivate others. Demonstrated experience in training others in the field of research. Required
