Description The Neuromodulation Division at UCLA Health is seeking a highly skilled Business & Finance Manager to lead the Division’s financial, HR, and business operations in support of clinical care, research, and education. As a Business Finance Manager, you will:
Oversee and manage all Division accounts including clinical revenue ($15M annually), contracts, grants, endowments, and state funding Develop and maintain integrated financial models, forecasts, and reporting systems that support leadership decision-making Manage post-award grant activity subawards and contracting processes to ensure compliance with institutional and sponsor requirements. Partner with faculty to support budget planning, grant submission, and strategic financial planning. Oversee billing, reimbursement, and clinical service payments to ensure timely and accurate revenue management Supervise staff responsible for purchasing, reimbursements, an insurance processing, while leading HR processes including hiring, onboarding, position changes, and job description updates Serve as a strategic partner to Division leadership, providing guidance on financial sustainability and growth initiatives This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a growing Division at the intersection of mental health and innovation, supporting clinical programs, cutting edge research, and educational initiatives.

Salary range: $70,900/yr - $145,200/y
Qualifications Master’s degree in finance, business, public health or related field or equivalent experience 3-5 years of progressively responsible management experience in finance/business operations within a healthcare, research, or academic setting Experience with an academic health system environment, with familiarity in navigating both clinical and research/academic program financial requirements (preferred) Demonstrated success managing large, complex budgets with experience across both clinical revenue and academic funding (contracts, grants, gifts, endowments, or state funds) Proven leadership and supervisory experience, including managing staff and cross-functional teams Strong knowledge of accounting, fund management, research administration, and HR business practices Advanced skills in financial forecasting, reporting, and compliance management Excellent communication, problem-solving and organizational skills Ability to partner effectively with leadership and faculty in a fast-paced environment $70900-145200 Annually Monday-Friday 8am-5pm
