DescriptionOur Department of Psychiatry is seeking to hire a full-time Intake Coordinator to join our Neuromodulation Division. The Neuromodulation Division is leader in Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) and other innovative neuromodulation therapies for mood disorders and chronic pain. Our team combines cutting-edge research with exceptional patient care to deliver the latest evidence-based treatments.
The Intake Coordinator serves as the primary point of contact for prospective patients and referring providers, ensuring a positive patient experience from initial inquiry through treatment scheduling. Key responsibilities include:
- Serve as the first point of contact for patients and families seeking neuromodulation services
- Conduct intake calls and gather patient, insurance, and clinical information
- Schedule and coordinate new patient consultations and follow-up appointments
- Verify insurance eligibly and obtain authorizations as needed
- Address patient questions, concerns, and barriers to accessing care
- Coordinate with physicians, clinical staff, and referring providers to facilitate patient care
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation with the electronic health record system
- Track referral, scheduling, and clinic performance metrics
- Assist with process improvement initiatives to enhance patient access and satisfaction
Salary range: $35.47/hr - $48.82/hr
