JOB DUTIES JOB QUALIFICATIONS Description The NP functions in an interdependent role by implementing the appropriate Standardized Procedures (SPs). In collaborative practice with the Medical Director, attending physicians and fellows, the NP will be responsible for providing independent clinical assessment and patient care management services for Hematology/Oncology clinic patients. The Oncology NP is a master’s prepared oncology advanced practice nurse employed by UCLA Hematology/Oncology community clinics to assist in direct patient care. The Nurse Practitioner will be responsible for communication and feedback with patients, families and referring physicians and will serve as a clinical care extender of the attending Oncologists. Incumbent must be self-directed and function with minimal direct supervision. Salary range: NP2 (more than 6+ months NP exp) :$93.81-$133.97/hourly NP1 (less than 6 months NP exp): $84.62/hourly
