Position Title: Sanitation Technician FLSA Status:Non-Exempt
Reports To: Sanitation Manager
Scope: All aspects of Plant sanitation.
Essential Duties:
Responsible for completing sanitation activities within plant, including facility housekeeping, and equipment cleaning and sanitizing.
Responsible for using the 3-sink sanitation process to set up sanitizing process to clean direct contact parts, utensils, and equipment.
Responsible for proper storage, handling and issuing approved cleaning chemicals in the HP facility.
Responsible for inventory of consumable items and supplies such as gloves, lab coats, beard nets, sanitizing soaps, bags, and other items used in processing. Notifies the HP Supervisor when new supplies are needed.
Following Company Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) at all times.
Must follow 5S protocol and be familiar with definitions to maintain work area.
Responsible to report any and all, major or minor food safety problems to personnel with authority to initiate action.
Promote food safety and quality awareness throughout the organization.
Assist with other projects or duties as assigned.
