To learn more about UCI Health, visit Your Role on the Team Position Summary:The Total Care Charge Nurse is a Registered Nurse who provides individualized care to patients requiring diagnostic evaluation and possible intervention.
Emphasis is placed on assessment of healthcare needs, implementation of therapeutic treatment, anticipation, recognition, and if necessary, intervention of adverse effect of procedures/ medical condition to assure positive patient outcomes.
In addition, the Total Care Charge Nurse provides patient/family education to promote optimal healthcare status upon discharge.What It Takes to be Successful Required Qualifications:
Current California Registered Nurse license AHA Basic Life Support (BLS)
AHA Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Minimum 2 years of Oncology Care Experience Minimum 2 years of RN Navigator Experience Minimum 2 years of Interventional Radiology Biopsy Experience All external candidates must have a Bachelor of Science in Nursing Must possess the skill, knowledge and ability essential to the successful performance of assigned duties Must demonstrate customer service skills appropriate to the job Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English Ability to maintain a work pace appropriate to the workload Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships across the Health System Preferred Qualifications:
