Medication Access Specialist

Location: UCHealth UCHlth Admin Lowry, US:CO:Denver (This is an on-site position, no remote or hybrid options)

FTE: Full Time and PRN positions available

Shift: Days

Pay: $22.14 - $28.78 / hour. Pay is dependent on applicant's relevant experience

Minimum Requirements

• High School diploma or GED.
• PHATP (Pharmacy Technician Provisional) certification from State Board of Pharmacy. PHAT (Pharmacy Technician) certification from State Board of Pharmacy within 18 months of hire.
• Certification as a Pharmacy Technician (CPhT).
• Minimum 2 years of Pharmacy Technician experience or 1 year of experience performing prior authorizations or refill renewals.
  
  

Summary

Responsible for providing access to medications for patients by completing Prior Authorization Requests (PAR), Co-pay Assistance Programs, Medication Assistance Programs, benefits investigation, processing refill renewal requests, assisting patients with health insurance enrollment, managing PAR and prescriptions renewal dates.
