Key Responsibilities
Regional HR Leadership & Strategy
- Partner with regional executives and site leaders to align HR strategy with operational and financial goals across multiple facilities.
- Drive consistency in HR practices, policies, and leadership expectations across hospitals, clinics, and ambulatory settings.
- Translate system-wide HR initiatives into actionable regional plans with measurable outcomes.
Workforce Planning & Talent Strategy
- Lead regional workforce planning efforts, including staffing models, succession planning, and talent pipeline development.
- Utilize workforce analytics to inform decisions on hiring, retention, and role optimization across sites.
- Partner with Talent Acquisition and Organizational Development to support leadership hiring, onboarding, and readiness.
Leadership Support & Development
- Coach and advise senior and operational leaders across the region on complex employee relations, performance management, and organizational effectiveness matters.
- Identify leadership capability gaps and partner with OD to implement targeted development strategies.
- Foster leadership accountability for engagement, performance, and cultural outcomes.
Employee Experience & Culture
- Drive regional engagement strategies, ensuring consistency in employee experience while recognizing site-specific needs.
- Monitor engagement trends and implement targeted interventions to improve retention and morale.
- Champion inclusive, equitable workplace practices across all locations.
Employee Relations & Compliance
- Ensure consistent application of HR policies and compliance with federal, state, and local regulations across all sites.
- Partner with HR compliance and legal teams to address complex employee relations issues and mitigate risk.
- Oversee resolution of employee concerns, ensuring fair, consistent, and timely outcomes across the region.
Operational Execution & HR Integration
- Partner with system COEs (Compensation, Benefits, Talent, HRIS) to ensure effective rollout and adoption of HR programs regionally.
- Ensure operational excellence in HR processes, including performance management, investigations, and policy enforcement.
- Drive continuous improvement through standardization and best practice sharing across sites.
Candidate Qualifications

The successful candidate will meet the following requirements:
Education/Certification
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
- Minimum of 7 years of progressive HR leadership experience, including multi-site or regional oversight
- Experience operating in a complex, matrixed healthcare or similarly regulated environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field
- PHR, SPHR, or SHRM certification
- Demonstrated success leading HR strategies across multiple facilities or geographies
Skills and Traits
- Proven ability to lead across multiple sites with competing priorities while maintaining alignment to enterprise strategy
- Strong business acumen with the ability to connect HR strategy to operational and financial performance
- Skilled in influencing senior leaders and navigating complex organizational dynamics
