We are currently seeking a Dental Assistant to join our team in Norwich. The Dental Assistant is responsible for assisting the dentist with patient care and ensuring the efficient operation of the dental clinic.
Expected Schedule: Full-Time, 40 hours/week; Monday through Friday, 8:00am- 4:30pm

Essential Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for dental procedures and take their dental records and vitals
- Assist dentists with all dental procedures utilizing fourhanded dentistry.
- Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize dental instruments to ensure a clean and safe environment
- Provide patients with instructions for oral care and post-treatment procedures
- Expose and develop dental radiographs and take impressions and pour dental models
- Provide routine operational support such as tracking lab work, maintaining supplies in operatories, laundering staff scrub jackets and other duties as needed
- Return patient phone calls, phone in prescriptions and schedule patient appointments

Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Dental Assisting Certificate preferred with a minimum of 1-year of experience required for uncertified candidates
- Certificate in Dental Radiology
- Infection Control Certification
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Basic knowledge of electronic health record software
