We're Hiring: Certified Medical Assistant (CMA)
Location: UCF Health Lake Nona Florida and UCF Health East Orlando
Employment Type: Full-Time
Schedule: Monday – Friday 8am – 5pm No Weekends
Preferences to experience in Primary Care and Rheumatology
What You'll Do
As a CMA, you’ll be a vital part of our clinical team, responsible for both administrative and clinical tasks, including:
• Greeting and preparing patients for exams
• Taking vital signs and medical histories
• Collects and prepares laboratory specimens, Performs point-of-care testing in office
• Ensures proper forms are signed and dated, such as consent to treat, Advance Beneficiary Notice (ABN) forms, medical releases, and HIPAA forms
• Documented results communicated to the patient after physician has reviewed the results, updates medical records
What We're Looking For
• Certification: Certified Medical Assistant; current
• Experience: 0 years of relevant experience
• Skills: Excellent communication, organization, and multitasking abilities
• Tech-savvy: Familiarity with eCW systems and basic computer skills
• Attitude: Compassionate, dependable, and team-oriented
