Role Summary
The Junior Sales Representative plays a key role in supporting the growth of our client base by identifying and developing new business opportunities, assisting senior sales staff, and managing portions of the sales process from initial contact through contract execution. This position is ideal for an entry-level professional eager to learn the supplement manufacturing industry and grow into a senior sales role.
Key Responsibilities
- Generate and qualify new leads in the dietary supplement and nutraceutical markets.
- Conduct outbound outreach to introduce company services and assess client needs.
- Collaborate with senior sales and product development teams to prepare proposals and quotes that align with client requirements.
- Maintain accurate and timely updates within the company CRM system, documenting all client interactions and progress.
- Assist in coordinating client meetings, product demonstrations, and participation in industry trade shows.
- Communicate effectively with operations and quality assurance teams to ensure client expectations align with production capabilities.
- Meet or exceed defined sales activity targets (calls, emails, qualified leads, and proposals submitted).
- Support existing clients by providing responsive follow-up and identifying opportunities for repeat or expanded business.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Life Sciences, or a related field preferred.
- 0–2 years of experience in sales, business development, or customer service.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written).
- Highly motivated, goal-oriented, and comfortable initiating contact with prospective clients.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Basic understanding of manufacturing or private label product development is helpful but not required.
- Proficiency in CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Team-oriented with the ability to collaborate across departments in a fast-paced environment.
