We are currently seeking an experienced and energetic Kitchen Supervisor to join our Caledonia team. This is a full-time, hourly position that requires at least two years of supervisory experience in a high-volume, full-service restaurant environment.

Kitchen Supervisor Job Description:
Support the management team and kitchen team in successfully executing all kitchen functions including food preparation and maintenance of quality standards; sanitation and cleanliness; training of team members in methods of cooking, preparation, plate presentation, portion and cost control and sanitation and cleanliness.
Kitchen Supervisor Duties & Responsibilities: (including, but not limited to)
- Consult with management team on making appropriate cuts of team members without compromising Guest Service and based on daily sales.
- Ensure that line checks are completed twice daily so that all food and products are consistently stored, prepared and served according to Uccello’s recipes, portioning, cooking and serving standards.
- Make sure storage areas are clean, organized and properly stocked.
- Ensuring proper cooling procedures are being followed and documented.
- Team Member Check Out
- Ensure stations are properly stocked to complete day or night service and for the following day.
- Ensure Guest Service and ticket time standards are met and kitchen operations are efficient.
- Ensure Cleanliness and Sanitation standards are being maintained.
- Help control food cost and usage by following portioning guidelines, product storage procedures, standard recipes are being followed and waste control procedures are being used.
- Assist in the training of kitchen team members in safe operation of all kitchen equipment and utensils.
Kitchen Supervisor Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of kitchen supervisory experience in a high-volume kitchen.
- Banquet and catering experience preferred
- Pizzeria experience is a plus
- Strong operational background and ability to provide high-quality food and outstanding guest service.
- The ability to thrive under pressure. This is a high-volume operation.
- Be able to communicate and understand the predominant language(s) of the restaurant’s operating area.
- Possess excellent basic math skills
- Be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time.
- Be able to reach, bend, stoop and frequently lift up to 50 pounds.
- Must have the stamina to work 10 to 12-hour shifts when necessary and at least 45 hours per week
