The Identity Verification Technician supports the University’s efforts to maintain the integrity of student identity information and related systems. This position is part of the Information Technology department and works closely with Enrollment to review applicant data, validate identities, and assist with resolving potential issues. The role helps safeguard institutional data, ensure accurate student records, and support compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements. Essential Responsibilities Review and analyze student identity information to identify inconsistencies or potential concerns. Perform follow-up verification steps and coordinate with Enrollment and IT staff as needed. Document findings and assist with tracking trends or patterns that may require further attention. Support ongoing improvements to verification procedures and related workflows. Handle sensitive information with professionalism, discretion, and confidentiality. Qualifications Associate’s degree in Information Technology, Information Security, or a related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Strong attention to detail and analytical ability. Clear communication skills and a collaborative approach. Ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain accuracy. Basic understanding of cybersecurity and data integrity. Preferred Skills Experience with student information systems, CRM, or workflow management tools. Familiarity with data verification, compliance, or information security processes. Prior experience in higher education or enrollment operations.
