Role Description
The Registered Nurse, Emergency Department role is a full-time, on-site position based in San Diego, CA. The role involves providing high-quality, compassionate patient care within the fast-paced environment of the Emergency Department. Key responsibilities include assessing, planning, and implementing nursing care, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, prioritizing critical cases, and ensuring compliance with clinical standards and protocols. The ideal candidate will be dedicated to patient safety, effective communication, and maintaining a calm demeanor under pressure.
Qualifications
- Competency in Emergency Nursing and providing patient-centered care in urgent and high-pressure scenarios.
- Strong expertise in Nursing and Patient Care, with a focus on assessment, treatment planning, and patient education.
- Knowledge and experience in Critical Care Medicine and emergency medical interventions.
- Familiarity with general Medicine principles and practices relevant to emergency settings.
- Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of California.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications are required.
- Experience in an acute care Emergency Department or Trauma Center is strongly preferred.
- Excellent critical thinking, teamwork, and communication skills.
