Unlimited Carrier is a U.S.-based trucking and logistics company providing logistics planning, accounting, IT support, financial analysis, and other services remotely.
We are looking for a Manager of Finance & Analytics to lead a team of four analysts (Senior Pricing Analyst, two Financial Analysts, and one Data Analyst) and report directly to the CFO. The ideal candidate is analytical, organized, and a strong communicator who enjoys leading teams, solving problems end-to-end, and turning data into clear, actionable insights.
What You Will Own- Budgeting and forecasting processes, as well as monthly Budget-to-Actual reporting across multiple business units, including coordination with department heads, methodology defense, and variance analysis.
- The Power BI semantic model and the surrounding platform. You will own the model end-to-end, including schema decisions, measure design, performance tuning, row-level security (RLS), workspace structure, gateway health, and the reports the executive team relies on for decision-making.
- A team of four analysts, including workload allocation, technical review, career development, and hiring when needed.
- Continuous process improvements to ensure Finance & Analytics remains aligned with evolving organizational and business needs.
- Ad-hoc analytical projects, including ROI calculations, support for software implementations, and metrics development.
- 3 years of experience in FP&A, BI, or analytics, with experience managing or mentoring a team.
- Familiarity with budgeting and forecasting processes.
- Strong Power BI modeling and DAX skills. Knowledge of Power Automate or similar tools.
- Fluency in SQL. Python is a plus but not required.
- Daily use of AI tools such as Claude, ChatGPT, Copilot, or similar.
- Project management experience leading cross-functional initiatives, including system implementations, process redesigns, or analytics rollouts.
- Knowledge of U.S. GAAP financial statements and standard cost accounting concepts is an advantage.
- Agility, strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- English proficiency at B2 level or higher, with daily communication with U.S.-based colleagues.
- Salary of EUR 5,300–7,000 gross per month, depending on experience, plus an annual bonus.
